Ace Ideas
JALAPENO MAC 'N CHEESE
1lb macaroni pasta
1lb bacon (cooked and chopped)
1lb cream cheese (cut into 1 inch cubes)
3/4lb shredded cheddar cheese
3/4lb shredded Monterrey Jack
1lb butter
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1 1/2 cup milk
1 cup half & half
5 jalapenos Sliced
1 cup panko bread crumbs
1 1/2 cups Ace in the Bowl
salt & pepper
Cook pasta according to directions. Drain and set aside. Cook bacon until crispy, cool, and chop. Set aside. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and stir until liquid is absorbed and roux begins to form. Add milk and half and half and stir continuously. Bring to a boil and cook until liquid is thick and smooth. Remove from heat and add cream cheese, Monterrey Jack, cheddar, and salt and pepper. Stir until cheese is completely melted into the liquid. In a large bowl, combine pasta with cheese sauce. Fold in bacon and salsa. Pour into a buttered baking dish. Top with jalapeno slices and bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is bubbly, enjoy!
Creamy Dip
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup Ace in the Bowl
Mix the 3 ingredients together and chill
Great dip for Chips, Crackers and Veggies
Mexican Cheese Ball
2- 8 oz, pkgs of cream cheese (soften)
1 cup of Cheez Whiz or 1 cup of finely shredded Mexican Cheese
Blend the cream cheese and Cheez Whiz
1 cup of Ace in the Bowl
Chopped pecans
Or Shredded Cheese together
When mixture is firm roll into a ball or log
Then cover the ball or log with the chopped pecans
Serve with club crackers, wheat thins, or bagel chips.
Crock-Pot Breakfast Casserole
1 pkg. (32 oz) frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
1 pkg. pre-cooked sausage crumbles
2 cups Mexican Cheeses
1 jar Ace in the Bowl Salsa
12 eggs
1 cup milk
¼ tsp. black pepper
Spray the bottom of a 6 quart Crock-pot with cooking spray
layer half the potatoes, sausage, cheeses, and Salsa
Repeat the layers
Beat the eggs, milk and pepper then
Pour over the mixture in the crock-pot
Cook on high for 4 hours or
Low for 8 hours
Serves 12
Ace Guacamole Salad
4 avocados (peeled, pitted, and mashed
1 cup Ace in the Bowl Salsa
Season to taste if needed
Serve with tortilla chips or just alone
Crock-pot Chicken
Place Chicken Tenders in bottom of Crock-pot
Sprinkle packet of Chicken Taco Seasoning
Pour 1 jar of Ace in the Bowl Salsa over the Chicken
Cook on low all day.
Serve on a tostada (seen above), in a soft taco, on a taco salad,
or as a main dish with a vegetable.
Tortilla Roll Up
Mix the same ingredients as "Mexican Cheese Ball," but do not chill
Spread over the tortilla
Sprinkle with one of the following:
Pecans, crumbled sausage, crumbled bacon or a thin slice of ham.
Roll up then chill. Slice into pinwheels.
Mini Tacos
1 1/2 lb. of hamburger meat
1 package taco seasoning
Ace in the Bowl Salsa
Finely Shredded Mexican Cheese
Package Tostitos Scoops
Brown Hamburger meat and drain well
Add package of taco seasoning
Spoon taco meat into the Tostitos Scoops
Top the meat mixture with the Salsa
Shredded Lettuce and Cheese
This is a great party favorite
Shredded lettuce
Ace in the bowl "full house" breakfast casserole
1 dozen eggs
16 oz sour cream
1 cup cooked meat (crumbled bacon, sausage, or diced ham all work well)
1 jar Ace in the Bowl Salsa
2 cups shredded Mexican cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Spray a 9x13 pan with non-stick cooking spray
Wisk the eggs, add sour cream, and wisk until smooth
Add meat, salsa, and 1 cup of cheese
Pour into pan, cover with foil, and bake for 35 minutes
Make sure casserole is done in the center and then top with the remaining cheese.
Put back into oven for 10 minutes to melt and brown cheese
Serve hot, salt and pepper to taste
Top with additional Ace in the Bowl Salsa
Taco Soup
1 lb. hamburger meat
1 onion chopped
1 (1 oz) package Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix
1 (1 oz) package taco seasoning mix
1 (16 oz) can pinto beans
1 (16 oz) can chili beans
1 (16 oz) can whole kernel corn
1 jar Ace in the Bowl Salsa
2 cups tomato juice
Brown meat and onion and drain
Add the Ranch Dressing and Taco seasoning to meat
Add the beans and corn (do not drain)
Bring to boil and simmer for 1 hour
